I had a mixed experience at the Renaissance Naples Hotel Mediterraneo. While the location was ideal for exploring the city and the front desk staff, especially Marialaura, were incredibly helpful, I encountered some disappointments, particularly with room service and the gym's access policy. The rooftop breakfast with stunning views was definitely a highlight, but the overall facilities felt in need of modernization.

Rooms
6.0
Although the rooms were clean and comfortable, they felt a bit dated and didn't meet my expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, I experienced a lack of sockets near the bed, which was inconvenient.
Service
7.0
The front desk staff were wonderful, always eager to help, like when Marialaura went out of her way to let us check in early. However, other service areas, especially in the dining room, left something to be desired, and I experienced a rude interaction regarding extra charges.

Breakfast on the rooftop was a treat, featuring a good range of options and beautiful views. Yet, I was disappointed that the restaurant was not open for dinner, which would have been perfect for catching sunsets over the city.

While the gym itself was impressive with various training rooms and equipment, the access policy was frustrating. I expected more from a hotel in this category, particularly regarding modern amenities.

The breakfast spread had a great setting on the rooftop; however, I found the food quality lacking. The crowded space made it hard to enjoy the meal comfortably.

The amenities offered were decent, but the rooftop solarium could use more shade options to make it more enjoyable during the heat of the day.
